Emily's photography story began on a small farm in the countryside when she was a child. She became fascinated by her mums Pentax film camera and living on a farm meant that there were plenty of wonderful things for her to capture! She took her first photograph when she was 6 years old and was greatly inspired by a family friend who always had a passion for photography and showed her and her sisters slides from his travels abroad.

Emily went on to study photography in University and after graduating she went on to work for Nikon at their Photography training centre of Excellence in Oxford Circus where she coordinated and helped deliver photography training courses. Emily has since begun her career as a full time professional photographer delivering photography services for a wide variety of events and occasions.

'Every day is different and the wonderful moments that I capture at weddings and events always leave me buzzing! It is always an honour to be a part of someone's special day and to capture those wonderful memories. Ultimately my Photography is all about catching those magical moments that you want to remember and treasure. I like to use a documentary style approach to capture people naturally, letting the story unfold by capturing all of the little details that make life so special!' ~ Emily

Overall Emily is very down to earth and easy going and she loves nature and the great outdoors. When she is not photographing you will probably find her hiking in the hills or having a paddle down the river in her Kayak. Emily also works as a consultant for TimeLine Events, a photography events company specialising in photography experiences. Emily coordinates and delivers photography workshops and experience days and loves inspiring other photographers to try new things and improve their skills.
